My love for yoga sprouted during my first hot yoga practice in 1999. As the sweat dripped off the edge of my nose there was no question that I had found something special, and the magic of yoga made my heart swell. Sharing yoga is a beautiful thing, and I am honored and grateful for every moment I have to practice with others. I became a yoga teacher in 2008 with a 250-hour certificate from Yoga Passage under the guidance of Tracy Mann and Tanis Fishman. I have also had the pleasure of studying with other skilled trainers such as Janice Clarfield, Bizzie Gold, and Noah Maze.

For the last 18 years, I have been in the healthcare industry working with clients to improve their health and quality of life. I continuously try my best to motivate others to achieve their fitness goals. In nursing school I became fascinated with the human body especially enjoying Anatomy and Physiology, as well as nutrition. Other certificates I hold are Prenatal Yoga, BUTI Yoga, and Personal Training.

My musically driven classes emphasize building strength, increasing flexibility and balanced elements of yin and yang. Whether I am guiding a gentle restorative practice or a powerful core practice I always teach with compassion and a light heart.
See you on the mat soon

Celeste White’s introduction to Yoga was quite unexpected. In 2008, at the urging of a friend she took her first class and was hooked! Inspired to learn more, releasing any former misconceptions she had about Yoga being “for the flexible people”, she went on to take her levels one, two and three Yoga Teacher Trainings as well as having participated in 3 Yoga Teacher co-creates, and is now facilitating the One Love Yoga Teacher Training.

Fuelled by her love of teaching, music and creative expression, Celeste has fused her knowledge of yoga and brought it into her other passion…Hula Hooping! She has developed and facilitated six I Love Hoola Hoops/ One Love Yoga International Teacher Trainings in Costa Rica/ Okotoks and continues to teach ongoing classes.

A free spirit, with a strong desire to share what Yoga has done for her both inside and out, she stays true to Yogic philosophy while creating space for her students to explore their own possibilities and challenging themselves and having fun! Her mantra of “Live for yourself….you will live in vain. Live for others…. you will live again” by Bob Marley & the Wailers is demonstrated in her teaching approach, and fosters trust and connectivity between herself and her students. Celeste’s classes are for everyone and anyone, no matter what their background. She is here to shake things up a bit and have some fun with life , music and possibility!

Celeste is an E-RYT 200/ RYT 500 Registered Yoga Alliance Certified Yoga instructor. Also she has been a partner in One Love International Yoga School RYS-200. She Facilitates both 200 hour yoga Teacher Training as well as 250 hour Hoola Hoop / Yoga Teacher Trainings, with over 3000 hours of teaching experience.
